“We are proud to be associated with CURE Zimbabwe and its endeavour to transform the lives of children in need. Their objectives resonate with what Stanbic Bank is all about. Stanbic Bank is more than just a financial services institution that goes the extra mile, well beyond handling money, to putting smiles on the faces of the needy through our health pillar which is part of a broader and well-thought-out Corporate Social Investment (CSI) drive,” said Solomon Nyanhongo, Stanbic Bank Chief Executive (CE).

“CURE Children’s Hospital is grateful for Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe’s generous support,” said Jonathan Simpson, Executive Director of CURE Children’s Hospital. “This grant will enable us to provide life-changing surgeries to children who would otherwise go without. We are proud to partner with Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe to bring hope and healing to these deserving children.”

The grant will be used to support surgeries for children with treatable disabilities, including clubfoot, cleft lip and palate, and other orthopaedic conditions.
